Our Technology

Metal 3D printing applied
to medicine and implant dentistry

The Cubo Biomedical 3D Technology Center uses additive manufacturing by selective laser melting (SLM) to produce grade 5 titanium parts with geometry impossible to achieve through conventional machining. The result: implants that fit the patient perfectly, with faster, more predictable surgery.

SLM — Selective Laser Melting

Cutting-edge technology that fuses layers of titanium powder with a high-power laser, creating parts with complex geometry and high mechanical strength.

Grade 5 ELI Titanium

Ti-6Al-4V ELI alloy — the most biocompatible material in implant dentistry. Strong, lightweight, no rejection. The same one used in orthopedics and aeronautics.

3D Digital Planning

From the DICOM file of the patient's CT scan, our engineering team designs the piece virtually. The surgeon reviews and approves it before we manufacture.

Sterilized and Registered

Each piece is sterilized and delivered with full traceability. Custom-made medical devices with ANVISA registration.

Our History

From an idea to a revolution
in oral and maxillofacial surgery

01

The problem no one was solving

Patients with severe bone atrophy had no alternatives beyond long bone graft surgeries with high morbidity and unpredictable results. Cubo was born to change that.

02

Betting on additive manufacturing

By bringing SLM technology from the aeronautics industry into medicine, we began manufacturing titanium parts with personalized geometry — something impossible with conventional machining.

03

First cases and clinical validation

The first certified surgeons performed procedures with results that exceeded expectations: shorter surgeries, less pain, and faster recovery for patients.

04

Expansion and nationwide certification

Today, the Centro Tecnológico Cubo trains oral and maxillofacial surgeons and implant dentists throughout Brazil, building a network of specialists able to offer this solution to their patients.
